This month we received 23 proposals and accepted 8, 5 for GN and 3 for GS. We may have had a record number of students involved this round, with 6 proposals related to thesis work and 8 student reviewers.
Proposals for the next cycle are due Feb 28, 12:00 (NOON) HST. Please note this change from previous semesters. Successful proposals will be active for the period Apr – Jun. Please check the detailed 22A instrument schedules: http://www.gemini.edu/observing/schedules-and-queue
Starting with this CfP, we will be enforcing the dual anonymous review process (DARP) rules. Proposals must use the correct FT DARP templates. Any using a different template will be rejected at the start of the cycle. Furthermore, any proposals that are not sufficiently anonymized will be sent to the directorate for review.
